It takes a bit more than an hour to get there but it’s worth!

Immersed in a pinewood, characterized by Mediterranean vegetation, Lido Pizzo’s coast lays behind the pines and features a shallow, sandy shoreline that gradually rises up with the presence of small rocks.

By looking at the photos below you can better understand how cristal the water is and the long sandy beach end up to meet the also famous Punta del Suina (Punta della Suina can be reached by a long walk directly from Lido Pizzo).

The large parking area (a fee is required) is reached via an unpaved and dusty road.

The long beach is partial for a fee with beach umbrellas included or, walking a bit, you can get to the long free area.

There are also a restaurant and bathrooms with showers.

  • 1 hour and 15 minutes from Trullo della Pace

  • Ionian sea: OK with Tramontana wind, while not suggested with Scirocco

  • Despite the beach is one of the most sheltered in the area, sometimes there could be seaweeds, especially at very beginning of the beach.

  • It is therefore advisable to call before going, to get info about the beach (wind and seaweeds):
